This highly informative lecture for the U19 squad was held at Qormi Football Club training complex on 13 January 2016.  It was on the club’s own initiative to seek the services of Franz Tabone, the Integrity Officer of the Malta Football Association to address the U 19 squad in the light of recent developments in the betting scenario. It was very important that the youngsters learn about the pitfalls happening in football and also to understand what the legal and sporting discipline responsibilities entail. The group present at the lecture listened attentively and found out what the realities, circling the game, actually are.  Instructional video clips highlighted real life situations which are similar to the ones the players may encounter during their career. This lecture is directed at the junior squads but is also open to all the players, officials and administrators of all member clubs which are free to ask for this event to take place at their premises. Clubs may contact the Integrity Officer on franz.tabone@mfa.com.mt for further information.
