The Maltese boys continued where they left in the UEFA Development Tournament and once again gave a wonderful performance by beating the Frosinone boys 3 – 1. It was another good match in which our boys created a good number of chances to score twice through K. Mifsud and C. Camilleri in the 36’ and 55’. After this second goal, Frosinone came back with a couple of chances foiled by saves by our Goalkeeper R. Al-Tuni who could not do anything against a strong shoot which gave the Italians their only goal. Here our boys showed great character coming back by scoring a third goal through A. Spiteri in the 75’ after having a goal annulled for offside a few minutes before. It was another fine match for these boys who are answering well to the great work being done by the Technical Centre. The match was followed by the Maltese Ambassador to Italy H.E. Vanessa Frasier who congratulated the boys for their wonderful performance after the match. Later she also visited the boys at their Hotel.
