The annual graduation of the Referees’ Academy for season 2016-17 was held last Friday at the Victoria Hotel in Sliema.
Eight students, including two foreign boys, were presented with their certificates during a ceremony held in the presence of their parents. Introductory and short speeches were given by Paul Caruana, Project Leader of the Academy, Kevin Azzopardi, the Director of Refereeing, and Alex Manfrè, Malta FA Vice-President and Chairman of the Referees’ Committee. The presentation ceremony was followed by a reception for the new graduates and their parents.
