Group Stage of the Malta BOV ePremier League 2023/24 Concludes in Dramatic Fashion

The Malta BOV ePremier League 2023/24 concluded its Group Stage in thrilling style, with Match Day 6 showcasing the final set of matches from Group B.

Nail-biting encounters unfolded throughout the day, with some teams securing dominant victories and others seeing their dreams dashed.

Mosta and Marsaxlokk emerged as the group's strongest contenders, while Naxxar Lions snuck into the top three positions with crucial wins over Sliema Wanderers and Hibernians. From their end, Sliema Wanderers obtained the much-needed 3 points with a solid win against Gudja United, placing fourth and securing the last remaining spot in the Knockout Stage.

With the Group Stage now complete, the top eight teams, four from each group, will progress to the highly anticipated Knockout Stage.

Here, the pressure will be cranked up as the format shifts to a double-elimination system.

This means teams will have a second chance to redeem themselves after an initial loss, ensuring a thrilling and unpredictable end to the tournament.

The Knockout Stage kicks off on Friday 5th April with the first four matches broadcast live on TVMSport+ starting at 9 PM.
