Victoria Hotspurs FC approved as the Malta FA’s 54th Member Club

Victoria Hotspurs FC was approved as the Malta FA’s 54th Member Club.

An Extraordinary General Assembly convened today approved the request for membership submitted by Victoria Hotspurs FC earlier this season.

The matter had been discussed on several occasions within the Malta FA’s Executive Board until it was referred to the General Assembly once the competitive season in Gozo was over.

With 41 votes in favor and 11 against, the club has now become the 54th member club.

The other 16 members are Member Associations that represent different stakeholders within the game as well as recreational football.

They will join the National League in the newly composed National Amateur League 2 as of Season 2024/25.
