Qormi FC are the winners of Section B of the Malta FA Youth League. Having wrapped up the league title with something to spare, the Qormi youngsters concluded their commitments with a 1-1 draw against Floriana at the Siġġiewi Ground on Wednesday. Qormi topped the standings with 43 points, eight ahead of second-placed Lija Athletic who have also been promoted to Section A. Naxxar Lions have been relegated to Section C while Żabbar St Patrick and Żebbuġ Rangers will play a relegation decider after finishing level on 21 points. Dr Matthew Paris, the Malta FA Vice-President, presented the winners’ trophy to the Qormi players at the end of Wednesday’s match. Attard have won Section C of the Malta FA Youth League. They pipped Kirkop United to the title by a solitary point after beating Żejtun Corinthians 4-1 in their last match earlier this week. Kirkop defeated Dingli Swallows 6-0 in their final match. Fgura United and Żejtun have been relegated to Section D. Rodney Pisani, the Malta FA Deputy General Secretary, presented the Section C winners trophy to the Attard players after their last match at the Għaxaq Ground.
