On Wednesday 25th June 2014, Ms. Anne Noe Haesendonck a FIFA  Coaching instructress from the Belgian FA started a 5 day course for Women’s Coaches at the Technical Centre. A group of 24 coaches from various Women’s Football clubs are following this intensive course sponsored by FIFA.

From time to time the Coach Education Department at the Technical Centre applies to organise such courses through FIFA to keep local coaches up to date with modern trends in football coaching. In the last four years similar courses were organised for Goalkeeper coaches with Bob Browaeys, Nursery Headcoaches with Stephen Costantine, Grassroots course with Fritz Schmid,  Women’s Coaching course with Monica Staab, Beach Soccer coaching with Ramiro Amarelle and several other such courses for referees.

This course by Ms. Noe covers several coaching aspects in the game from coaching of youths to that of seniors always within the women’s football arena. At the end of the course the participants will receive an attendance certificate issued by FIFA. All this is part of the Technical Centre’s drive to raise the level of coaching in all aspects of the game on the island.
