On Sunday the national team trained for the last time at the Senec sports complex in preparation for their first EURO 2016 qualification match against Croatia in Group H on Tuesday. This morning Andrew Cohen did not train with the team as he had a slight temperature.  The last training session was a high intensive one started off with the physical trainer Mark Buttigieg replacing Luca Pagani for these two away matches. The tightly knit group is a mixture of experienced players and up and coming young stars striving for match practice at international level. In late afternoon the team leaves Slovakia heading towards Zagreb in a five hour coach drive passing through Austria. Malta plays Croatia on Tuesday 9th September at the Stadion Maksimir in Zagreb with the match from Group H kicking off at 20:45 Hrs. The match will be shown live on TVM.
