Pre-Selection Trials, exclusively organised by the Malta Football Association (MFA) Technical Centre, will be held for prospective football students born in 2004 who wish to apply for entry to the National Sport School.   These pre-selection trials will be held on Saturday 7th February and Saturday 14th February 2015. Application  forms may be downloaded from the Downloads section of the MFA website and may be submitted at the MFA Technical Centre as from Friday 2nd January 2014. Closing date for applications is Friday 23rd January, 2015.  The two 60-minute trials will be conducted by MFA Technical Centre coaches whereby participants will be judged on four key areas, namely technique, insight of the game, personality and speed. All participants will score marks for each area and a general mark is given at the end of each session. The same procedure is repeated in the second session. Scores from the two sessions will be aggregated and the top 30 students will be eligible for application for entry to the National Sport School.  Those 30 students will then take part in a final session, where they will again be scored, with the score on that day added to the score carried forward from the Pre-Selection Trials, to identify the best young talents for enrollment in the NSS. Results of trials are final and cannot be contested. It is a must for prospective applicants to have participated in these Pre-Selection Trials organised by the MFA Technical Centre. CLICK HERE to download the Application Form
