Second session training in Baku

The Malta National Team continued with its preparation for the Euro 2016 Qualification match against Azerbaijan at the Tofiq Bəhramov Respublika Stadium this Saturday with an official training session and a press conference on Friday morning. Apparently this stadium is the only one in the world named after an ex-referee. Pietro Ghedin and his assistant coach Raymond Farrugia analysed the squad players in a run out against Georgia and verified the fitness of some players at the training sessions. Azerbaijan and Malta will lock horns on Saturday at the Tofiq Bəhramov Respublika stadium at 21:00Hrs local time in Baku. The match will be shown live on TVM2.
