Gianluca Lia After their historic win over Romania last Monday, the U15 Women’s National Team were optimistic in getting another positive result against the same opponent in another international friendly and in fact they managed to get a 0-0 draw which means that in both matches, Malta did not concede any goal which is the ideal start for these young girls. It was a match played in windy conditions, which favoured both teams when they were attacking although they did not finalise any of their efforts. The first half saw Romania piling up pressure on Malta’s defence but it was the home side who ended the half on a high note.  Keeva Camilleri had an effort on goal saved by the goalkeeper and few minutes later Kayleigh Chetcuti tried her luck from outside the box but once again Nacuta Diana seemed insuperable. Kayleigh Chetcuti had another effort goal in the opening minutes of the second half. As the minutes went by, Malta were becoming more dangerous but failed to conclude from their efforts. In the dying minutes of the match, Maria Farrugia tried a shot from outside the box but Romania’s defenders blocked away and few minutes later, Malta worked a good ball but the final pass was not precise and the attack went in vain with the match ending in a stalemate. After the match our U15 girls were surprised when some of the A Women’s National Team entered in their dressing room to congratulate them.  Our youngsters wished them all the best for their upcoming fixtures. Malta's starting line up was: Patricia Ebejer, Kim Borg, Chloe Ellul, Leanne Cefai, Celeste Grech, Katryn Ellul (Maia Debono), Keeva Camilleri (Demi Magrin), Maria Farrugia, Nicole Sciberras, Sarah Urpani, Kaighleigh Chetcuti (Angelique Schembri) Coach - Dorianne Theuma
