Valletta moved second thanks to a 2-1 win over Birkirkara to end the Stripes' unbeaten run of eighteen matches.


Qormi moved fourth from bottom thanks to a 4-0 win over Tarxien Rainbows, Pieta Hotspurs defeated Zebbug Rangers 3-1 in a clash between the two bottom sides while Sliema Wanderers defeated Mosta 5-1 to leave the latter in relegation trouble.
