BOV Player of the Month: Mosta’s Obinna Obiefule wins last award of the season

Mosta’s Obinna Obiefule was the automatic choice for the last BOV Player of the Month award for football season 2011/2012.   The Nigerian striker scored an astounding total of seven goals in Mosta FC’s two matches during May 2012, with a hat-trick against Qormi and a further four goals against Marsaxlokk. Obiefule’s killer marksmanship saw him topping the goal-scorers list in the BOV Premier League, finding the net 34 times. These goals were an essential ingredient in Mosta’s efforts to retain their spot in Malta’s top football division. Tanya Gravina, Manager Marketing at Bank of Valletta, presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for May 2012 to Obinna who chose Puttinu Cares as the beneficiary of the donation related to this award.
