Following the past years’ successful edition of the Girls’ Primary School’s Festivals, the 2014-2015’s edition came to end last Tuesday, 19th May, with the last activities being held at the Ta’ Qali Training Grounds.  For another year, these activities were organised at San Anton and St. Martin’s schools back in November and January.

8 schools participated in last Tuesday’s event composed of around 100 students under the guidance of their PE teachers.  The participant schools were Chiswick House School, Theresa Nuzzo School (2 teams), San Anton School, San Andrea School, St. Catherine’s School, St. Joan Antide, St. Monica (Gzira) & Fgura Primary School.  St. Martin’s & St. Paul’s Bay participated during the other two festival days but unfortunately could not attend to the last festival due to other commitments.

The event was very enjoyable, with the youngsters indulging in keen contest within a fun environment. At the end of the festival the MFA Director of Women's football, Pierre Brincat and MFA Women’s Department assistant, Dorita Agius, presented a bag sponsored by Team Sport as a token to all the participants and their teachers.  The girls were also given a bottle of Kristal water sponsored by GSD Marketing Ltd.
