Malta beats Latvia in second EURO U21 Championships Qualifier

Malta's Under 21 side obtained their second positive result in as many matches in Group 1 of  the UEFA Under 21 Championships Qualifications. This time Malta beat Latvia 2-1 away from home. Silvio Vella's boys now have 4 points after the first two matches, both played on foreign soil. In their first match Malta drew 0-0 in Moldova. Latvia led by a 42 minute goal until the half way mark, at the D. Liepaja Stadium, but this did not dishearten the boys, today palying in white. Goals by Ryan Camenzuli after 55 minutes and a long range effort by Luke Montebello after 78 minutes turned things in favour of the Maltese, who held on bravely until the final whistle. Malta temporarily leads the group wtih 4 points Malta's Starting Line-Up;J.
