Presentation of FIFA badges to referees and assistant referees

 The annual presentation ceremony to Maltese FIFA referees and assistant referees will be held tomorrow, Tuesday at 7.00 pm at Le Meridien Hotel and Spa, St Julians. This is an annual event in which the MFA president will present FIFA badges to Maltese match officials on the FIFA International Lists for 2012. Presently the Malta FA is represented by four referees and eight assistant referees on the Men’s list, one referee on the Women’s list and one referee on the Men’s Futsal list.  This time there will be a new assistant referee who will be presented with a badge. The recipient will be replacing Joseph Camilleri who will be retiring from the international scene due to the FIFA age limit. Also, and for the first time, Malta will have two referees on the Beach Soccer Referees’ list. This presentation by Norman Darmanin Demajo will be held at the end of the monthly referees’ and match observers’ instructional meeting.
