Under 17's: Malta score 5 to end in style

The Malta Under 17 National Team scored five goals without conceeding any against Vicenza to end in style the tournament being played in Pinerolo, Italy. In just three hours, our lads have put behind them the morning weak performance against Atalanta to outshine Vicenza and beat them for the third placing in a match in which they outclassed their  opponents for most of the time scoring goals fluently. This victory meant that our team finished third behind Atalanta and Debregen with the former being declared winners of the tournament after defeating the Hungarians 3–0. All in all this Pinerolo Tournament was a positive experience for our boys who won three matches and lost one, scoring 10 goals conceding 3. This U/17 team will be participating in the UEFA U/17 Qualifiers in Finland in the last week of September 2015.
