BPW event organised at the MFA Millennium Stand

 The Careers’ Day of the Business and Professional Women event was organised this morning at the second, third and fourth floor of the MFA Millennium Stand, National Stadium, Ta’ Qali, this morning. More than 800 girls from different schools arounf Malta participated in this event.  The BPW (Business and Professional Women) is an International Organisation aimed at promoting the advancement of women in Society.  As an annual project, the club organised a Careers Day for girls in the 4th Form. It is believed that this is the best way to full fill the raison d'etre and to prepare our young ladies to aspire to better themselves. In this Careers Day, the students face the various Female Mentors in small groups and are asked a few questions about the career or profession of the Mentor concerned viz.: why she chose that profession, what qualifications are necessary, what prospects exist for advancement etc.  Careers' Day is a very worthwhile cause and much appreciated by the students and the schools and many of the Mentors have been with this organisation from its start since 3 years ago.   President Marie Louis Colerio Preca paid a visit to this event.
