Matchday 16 from the BOV Women's 1st Division sees leaders Hibernians facing relegation battlers Raiders (Luxol) with an opportunity to edge closer towards confirming themselves as champions of Malta. Meanwhile, Raiders will be seeking to take at least a point from this match in view of their salvation bid alongside Kirkop United. The latter will be in action on Wednesday when they take on Mgarr United, with the latter having nothing more to ask from the league while the former are in a fierce relegation battle against Raiders. The other match will see Birkirkara locking horns with Pembroke Athleta. While the Stripes have potentially consolidated the second place following last week's win over Mgarr, Pembroke are almost condemned to the second tier although mathematically they are still in contention.
