SANT AND SULTANA APPOINTED FOR UEFA UNDER-17 MINI-TOURNAMENT IN SLOVENIA

FIFA Referee Alan Mario Sant at present is appointed by UEFA to take charge of matches in the European Under-17 Championship 2017 Qualifying Round Group 5, played in Slovenia.


 

The Malta FA Refereeing Department appointed FIFA Assistant Referee Duncan Sultana to participate in this mini-tournament played atNNC Brdo Stadium and Sportni Stadion Kranj, in the city of Kranj.

 

Other appointed match officials are from Greece, Georgia and Slovenia.

 

The participating teams with hosts Slovenia are France, Montenegro and Estonia

 

The first appointment for Alan Mario Sant (as referee) and Duncan Sultana was the match Slovenia vs Estonia (4-1) last Thursday 20thOctober.

 

Two days later on Saturday 22ndOctober, they were 4th Official (Alan Mario Sant) and assistant referee in the match Slovenia vs Montenegro (2-2).

 

Their second appointment together as referee and assistant referee will be on the final matchday, Tuesday 25thOctober, during the France vs Slovenia match.

 

Gylfi Thor Orrason (Iceland) and Niklas A Lídarenda (Faroe Islands) are the appointed UEFA Referee Observers to assess the performances of the match officials at this mini-tournament.

 

Arturs Gaidels  (Latvia) is the appointed UEFA Delegate.
