Newly-crowned champions Birkirkara will face fellow Division One side Kirkop United in the final of the Women's Knock-Out after the two teams knocked out Hibernians and Mġarr United respectively in the semi-finals.

The Stripes obtained a comprehensive 4-0 victory over rivals Hibernians to move a step closer to clinching a league and cup double.

Forward Tracy Teuma put Birkirkara ahead after 15 minutes while Gabriella Zahra doubled their lead 10 minutes from half-time.

After the change of ends, wing-back Alishia Sultana scored a brace to seal the win for Shawn Meilak's side.

Meanwhile, in the first semi-final, Kirkop United defeated Mġarr United 2-0 to secure a place in Wednesday's final at the Centenary Stadium.

Strikers Alessia Caschetto and Demi Magrin got Kirkop's goals.

RAIDERS STAY UP

Earlier this week, Raiders (Luxol) played against Mosta in the promotion/relegation play-off.

It was the Division One side who emerged winners with a 3-0 scoreline to salvage their top-tier status.

Rodianne Zerafa hit a brace and Rohanne Zahra scored the other goal to secure the all-important win for Raiders.
