MFA Technical Director attends FIFA course in Istanbul

Twelve Technical Directors from European national associations convened in Turkey recently to take part in a five-day FIFA course.  Robert Gatt, the Technical Director of the Malta FA, was among the participants of this high-level course, held at the new technical centre of the Turkish Football Federation in Istanbul between June 19 and 23. The main items on the agenda were: • The FIFA Forward Development Programme• The job of the Technical Director within the long-term development planning• Coach Education• Scouting Talents and Teams• Women’s Football• Other Matters on the technical development of football During the course, Gatt delivered presentations on the structure and work of the Malta FA Technical Centre and its long-term development projects.
