This year, the Malta Football Association in collaboration with Fare and as part of the Football Action weeks, is organising two events on the 13th and 14th October 2017.

On the 14th October a number of NGOs, together with the Malta Football Association and a number of participants including refugees, migrants, youths and people coming from diverse situations, will participate in a workshop/convention where they will share their experiences based on their diverse realities and discuss how football can regenerate and promote issues of tackling discrimination, integration and inclusivity, gender equality and other social issues .

The workshop, entitled 'Integration and Inclusivity in Football' is the kick-off to what the Malta FA, as part of its Football Social Responsibility programme, will, together with the NGOs and other entities, create as a direct consequence of this year’s Football People and Football Action events: a Football People Network in Malta and eventually beyond our island .

Integra, Spark15, UNHRC , AWOS are among the NGOs participating in the workshop together with the President's Foundation for the Well-Being of Society.

The President of Malta, Her Excellency Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, will give a key-note speech during the workshop . Football is an important element in bringing different realities together: we strongly believe in this.

The workshop will be streamed lived and transmitted on an IPTV platform.

As part of the Football People Events, the Malta FA in collaboration with the President’s Foundation for the Well-Being of Society is participating in a campaign 'Zero-tolerance to Gender-Based Violence' which was launched oa few minutes ago at the Trophies Lounge within the National Stadium.

On match day as part of our Football People campaign, there will be a pre-match activity with the participation of Malta’s current local Eurovision singer winner Claudia Faniello, Destiny  a former Junior Eurovision winner ) and Mike Spiteri: all local high-profile singers who together with a group of children from a local school ( San Anton School, Malta ) will sing a rendition of a Maltese song: 'Fejn tħobb il-qalb, jimxu riglejja'  (My feet will go where my heart beats ) which is our theme song for this campaign . Local premier teams Mosta and Luxol St.Andrews will also participate in the pre-match activity .

Let's kick it…………..
