Luxol St Andrews gain first win in Main Round

Luxol St Andrews gained their first ever win in the Main Round of the UEFA Futsal Cup after beating Bosnian champions FC Mostar 5-2 in their final Group 8 match. With this victory, Luxol ended their commitments level with Mostar on three points after the latter edged out Deva 3-2 on Thursday. The first half ended 1-1 with Luxol’s Emil Raducu cancelling out Marijo Aladzic’s opener for Mostar. It was Mostar who regained the lead early in the second half through Mirko Hrkac but Zvezdan Vukovic equalised for Luxolafter connecting with Celino’s corner. After Aladzic was dismissed for Mostar, Luxol went ahead for the first time with a fine goal from Panu Autio and, 30 seconds later, Hrvoje Penava made it 4-2. Frane Despotovic completed the scoring for Luxol.
