The Technical Centre of the Malta Football Association announces that Myles Beerman has been dropped from the Malta senior and Under-21 squads for this week’s friendly match against Estonia and the UEFA U-21 Championship qualifying game against Turkey respectively for disciplinary reasons.  “Myles Beerman has been dropped from the Malta senior and Under-21 squads for the upcoming international matches due to an internal disciplinary matter,” the Malta FA Technical Centre said in a statement. The decision has been communicated to the player and his club, Glasgow Rangers. Beerman had been included in the Malta U-21 squad for Friday’s qualifier against Turkey at the Centenary Stadium and was also named in Tom Saintfiet’s provisional senior squad for the international friendly match against Estonia at the National Stadium on Sunday. Malta Under-21 coach Silvio Vella is currently assessing his options before deciding on Beerman’s replacement. Earlier on Monday, Vella called up St Andrews player Jacob Walker to his squad for the UEFA Under-21 Championship Group Six qualifier against Turkey. Walker replaces Birkirkara FC midfielder Matthew Guillaumier who has been ruled out of Friday’s qualifier after suffering an injury during his side’s BOV Premier League match against Balzan on Saturday.
