The Malta FA made a donation of €12,000 to the Malta Community Chest Fund during the Christmas period.

Norman Darmanin Demajo, the Malta FA President, presented the cheque to President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca during a reception held at Villa Arrigo.

The contribution in aid of L-Istrina is part of the MFA's Football for Life programme which encompasses several social responsibility initiatives during the year.

In season 2016-17, the Malta FA committed over €30,000 towards good causes under its Football For Life programme.
