Abandoned match – Birżebbuġa St Peter’s awarded 3-0 win

The Malta FA Control and Disciplinary Board has awarded Birżebbuġa St Peter’s a 3-0 victory after finding St George’s guilty of causing the abandonment of the BOV Second Division league match between the two clubs, played on 24th February, 2018 at the Sirens Stadium.
 


St George’s were also fined €200.

 

In the Youth League (Section D), Xgħajra Tornadoes were declared winners of their match against Santa Venera Lightnings which was abandoned in the 63rd minute with the score 6-1 in favour of Xgħajra.

 

Santa Venera Lightnings were found guilty of causing the abandonment of the match, played on 19th February, 2018 at the St Patrick Ground.

 

The 6-1 score is to stand as the match result.

 

The Malta FA Control and Disciplinary Board also fined Santa Venera Lightnings €50 while Xgħajra Tornadoes were fined €100.
