With the new scholastic year less than a month old, school children can already be seen visiting the National Stadium and the rest of the MFA facilities .   Two sized groups of boys and girls coming from Year 4 to Year 6 classes from the Marsaxlokk and Sliema Primary Schools, were the first to enjoy the experience. The tours are primarily intended for school children (boys and girls) aged between 8 and 14 years and their main objectives are; To give students a first hand experience of what is behind the largest single sport organisation on these islandsTo create a sense of pride and appreciation of the National Football StructureTo further enhance the concept of sport educationTo create another opportunity for school children to feel closer to our National TeamTo provide them with an alternative option for school excursions, andTo build-up a wider dialogue between the MFA and the various colleges and schools During such tours, youngsters will experience a unique visit to MFA’s Training Grounds, the Council Meeting Hall, a dream opportunity to sit in the place of one of their idols in the National Team dressing room itself, the emotions of walking through the players’ tunnel, onto the football pitch and walk up the steps which have seen so many winning team captains walking their way to collect their prize along the past 30 years of football at Ta’ Qali. And why not perhaps they will also taste the opportunity of feeling as important as the President of Malta, or the MFA Top Officials themselves by sitting in prime seats in the so called VVIP Tribune. Participants will also be able to watch a video showing the emotions that football provides, take part in a football activity and receive tokens. The Malta Football Association also  intends to extend this activity and offer customised tours to groups of adults (local or foreign). For further information and/or reservations Tel 23386000  -  e-mail info@mfa.com.mt
