The Malta FA Refereeing Centre is seeking to recruit a REFEREE FITNESS INSTRUCTOR on part time basis.
The duties and responsibilities of the selected candidate will include:
- Organisation of collective fitness sessions that address the requirements of match officials using modern fitness training methods.
- Providing specific and individualised training programs to match officials whose fitness is inadequate or recovering from injury.
- Ability to use refereeing knowledge to design integrated training sessions.
- Ability to use heart rate data to monitor the training of match officials.
- In charge of organising the FIFA fitness test in a professional manner in line with FIFA/UEFA guidelines.
- Analysing fitness test results and provide relevant feedback.
- Ability to work with FIFA/UEFA monitoring platforms.
- Availability to attend annual courses organised by FIFA/UEFA and the Malta FA, including overseas.
- Possess good spoken and written English
- Carrying out physical evaluations of match officials
- Producing weekly training programs for match officials
- Conducting injury prevention screening programs
A suitable remuneration package will be offered on an annual contract basis.
