Birkirkara will kick off their women’s league title defence with a match against rivals Hibernians on the opening day of the championship, starting on October 16, 2018.

The fixtures’ sequence of the 2018-19 BOV Women’s League was published on Tuesday evening following the draw made at the Malta FA offices.

After two regular rounds, the eight participating teams will be divided into two categories with the leading four teams forming Section A and the remaining four going into Section B. The second phase will also be played over two rounds.

Matches will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday.
