The Malta Football Association is organising the second edition of the Certificate in Football Administration (CFA – Level 1) course.

A total of 60 participants were awarded the first Malta FA Certificate in Football Administration earlier this year after successfully completing the inaugural course which has been very well-received by current and prospective football administrators.

Commencing on 17th September, 2018, the course, which is co-ordinated by Dr Matthew Paris, Vice-President of the Malta FA, will span a period of around three months with sessions being held on Mondays plus some extra sessions on Saturdays.

Candidates with a minimum attendance of 90 per cent of the module presentations will be eligible to do the final assessment which will be based on a written assignment.

The CFA – Level 1 course covers a number of key sectors related to football administration, including football management, MFA regulations, laws and other regulatory aspects, finances, IT, media and PR, marketing and HR relations.

Those completing the CFA Level 1 may thereafter be engaged by local clubs as administrators and also become eligible for funding under the Football Administrators Fund Scheme, launched recently by the Malta FA.

Additionally, successful candidates can enroll in the CFA Level 2 which is scheduled to start in February 2019.
