First goal for Muscat, third successive draw against Azeris

1 – Valletta midfielder Rowen Muscat’s first-half goal in the 1-1 UEFA Nations League draw against Azerbaijan last Sunday was his first for Malta.

3 – This was the third draw for Malta against Azerbaijan (from eight matches) … the other two were registered on 6th September, 2015 (2-2) and 10th September, 2018 (1-1). The chronological sequence of these eight meetings is three consecutive wins, two consecutive defeats and three consecutive draws for our national team
