The Refereeing Centre within the Malta Football Association organises beginners' courses for football referees on a regular basis.
Commencing shortly, the course is open for persons aged 16 and over. The three-week course will comprise theoretical and practical sessions focusing on the Laws of the Game. Training sessions are held at the MFA Training Grounds on Tuesdays and Thursdays while those on Wednesday are staged at the basketball pavilion in Ta' Qali. Young persons who are interested in pursuing a career as a football referee are encouraged to apply for this introductory course.
