The 2018-19 FA Trophy quarter-finals draw has produced four enticing clashes with eight Premier League teams going head to head in pursuit of a place in the semi-finals of the Knock-Out competition.
The joint-leaders of the BOV Premier League will be involved in a direct clash as FA Trophy holders Valletta were drawn against Hibernians. Valletta, who beat Birkirkara 2-1 in last year’s final, have won the FA Trophy 14 times while Hibernians have 10 cup triumphs. Mosta, the first team to em during today’s draw, will meet five-time FA Trophty winners Birkirkara, Tarxien Rainbows face Balzan and Pietà Hotspurs take on Gżira United. The latter have won the FA Trophy once in their history. The quarter-final matches will be played on the weekend of February 23-24, 2019.
