Positive performances from youngsters in Futsal League

Young players took centre-stage as the 2018-19 Malta FA Futsal League continued last week.
 


The Luxol U-19 side met Swieqi United U-21 at the National School of Sport, a game where both teams had the opportunity to showcase more of their upcoming talents.

 

The Futsal League (Division One) match ended in a comprehensive 6-3 victory for Luxol. Kemo Jackson scoreda hat-trick and Nathan Cope grabbed a brace with the other goal coming from Jordan Kelly.

 

Mark Muscat, Shaun Spiteri and Dylan Pace were on target for the Swieqi United youngsters.

 

Meanwhile, the University of Malta Students Futsal Team endured a difficult week in the elite division as their 2-1 defeat against Swieqi United was followed by an 8-1 loss to Luxol.

 

Champions Valletta resumed their league campaign with a straightforward 6-0 victory over Tarxien Rainbows, with the latter also losing their match against Birkirkara – 7-4.
