Tickets for Malta-Spain Euro 2020 qualifier sold out

The Malta Football Association would like to announce that all the tickets allocated for home supporters for the Euro 2020 Group F qualifying match between Malta and Spain, being played tomorrow (Tuesday) at the National Stadium, have been sold.  The last available tickets, for the North Stand, were sold this afternoon while tickets for the other three sectors – Millennium, West Stand C and South Stand – sold out last week. No tickets will be available for sale from the National Stadium on matchday. The match kicks off at 20.45 and the stadium gates open at 18.45. Indicative signage and stadium stewards will be on site on matchday to provide directions to those attending the match.  TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT Fans attending the Malta-Spain match are advised to make their way to the National Stadium early. Spectators who have tickets for the West Stand (Enclosure) are advised to head to the National Stadium from the Mosta area (Durumblat). Spectators who have tickets for the Millennium, North and South Stands are advised to pass from Żebbuġ or Attard on their way to the National Stadium. The National Stadium ring road (perimeter) will be closed all day tomorrow. Access to the stadium from the Mtarfa road (near Military Cemetery) will also be closed. Members of the Malta FA Event Team will be on hand to guide pedestrians to the stadium and the relevant sector according to their ticket. PUBLIC TRANSPORT There will be a public transport service to Ta’ Qali from Valletta, St Julians and Buġibba. Buses will leave from these locations every 15 minutes from 18.00 onwards. SECURITY The police will carry out security checks outside the turnstiles to ensure that: • Spectators enter the correct area of the stadium. • Spectators do not bring any objects/substances into the stadium that are likely to be used in acts of violence, or alcohol or fireworks of any kind. • Flags and banners will not be permitted if attached to solid sticks, etc.
