


Valletta, Hibernians, Gżira United and Balzan, Malta’s four representatives in this season’s UEFA club competitions, will begin their European campaign next week.
On Tuesday, July 9, Valletta face Luxembourg champions F91 Dudelange at the Stade Josy Barthel in the first leg of their Champions League first qualifying round tie. The match starts at 20.00.
On the same day, Gżira United host Croatian side HNK Hajduk Split in the first leg of their Europa League first qualfying round match. The game, at the Centenary Stadium, kicks off at 18.00.
Also in the Europa League, Balzan meet Slovenia’s NK Domzale at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday, July 11 (kick-off 18.30). Hibernians are away to Belarus side FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk with the match kicking off at 19.00.
