Draws of 2019-20 FA Trophy initial rounds on Thursday

The draws of the first three rounds of the 2019-20 FA Trophy will be held on Thursday, starting at 11.30am. A total of 67 clubs will compete in this season’s FA Trophy with the 14 teams in the BOV Premier League, including holders Balzan, entering the fray in the third round. The Knock-Out competition gets under way on the weekend September 6-8 with eight matches from the preliminary round followed by the first round ties, on September 13-15, and the second round on October 25-27, 2019. The preliminary round will comprise eight matches involving 16 teams drawn from the Third Division and the Gozo FA leagues. The winners of these matches meet the remaining 10 teams (GFA Leagues and Third Division) in the first-round ties. The 13 Second Division teams and 14 First Division sides join the winners of the nine first-round ties in the second round of the FA Trophy.
