Tomorrow Malta’s women’s team will be engaged in yet another friendly, this time against Cyprus, in a match which will be played in Paphiako Stadium, Paphos, at 14.30 hrs.   The match will give the opportunity to coach Pierre Brincat to provide his units with ample playing time, with the possibility of being able to assess more thoroughly their potential at international level. It will also give the team the chance of extending their recent winning run and thus confirm their progress in these last two seasons. Cyprus should be a good test for our girls who are in the phase of preparation for stiff international competition. Brincat, who is assisted by Mark Gatt, has picked 18 players from six different teams, Birkirkara, Hibernians, Gozo, Mġarr, Mosta and Pembroke. This is a wide choice which will offer the coach another occasion to go for the jugular in terms of tactics and at the same time give the girls more experience at this level of football. The squad is as follows: Goalkeepers  COSTANTINO Sharon14.05.75Mosta FCXUEREB Janice01.08.96Birkirkara FC   Defenders  D’AGOSTINO Rebecca14.10.82Mosta FCFARRUGIA  Stefania11.09.91Birkirkara FCAGIUS PACE Kelly19.09.91Birkirkara FCSAID  Ann Marie02.07.94Gozo FCZAHRA Gabriela02.05.91Birkirkara FCZAMMIT Charlanne18.01.91Hibernians FC   Midfielders  BUTTIGIEG Nicole01.08.93Mosta FCCARABOTT Ylenia01.03.89Hibernians FCCUSCHIERI Rachael25.04.92Birkikara FCGRECH Amber09.11.95Pembroke A FCPACE Natasha10.12.74Mosta FCSAMMUT Antoinette11.06.93Mgarr FCTHEUMA Dorianne17.05.84Mosta  FCXUEREB Emma05.01.92Mosta FC   Forwards  FLASK Jade04.08.96Mosta FCTHEUMA Tracy08.06.91Gozo FC
