A total of nine Premier League clubs have applied for a UEFA licence by the stipulated deadline of 31st January, 2020.
The clubs that applied for a licence are Balzan, Birkirkara, Floriana, Gżira United, Ħamrun Spartans, Hibernians, Sirens, Sliema Wanderers and Valletta. Clubs must obtain a licence to take part in UEFA competitions, provided they qualify for these competitions on sporting merits.
