Malta FA Technical Centre to organise two online courses

The Technical Centre within the Malta Football Association is organising two online courses during the April-June period. The Goalkeepers Coaching Course – Level One is intended for goalkeeper coaches working with goalkeepers from the age of 10 to 13 years (Youth Grassroots). The main objective of this course is to teach the prospective coaches the fundamental goalkeeping techniques and to instill a dedicated mentality in coaches centred on a holistic approach. The other course is the Football Physical Trainer Diploma – Level One. This course delves into all aspects of physical preparation in youth football up to the age of 16. Candidates are introduced to the basic principles of training methodology and football periodisation. The Physical Trainer Course is open to persons who have the following qualifications: Physical Education or Sport Science degree (Level 6) + CYFPhysiotherapy degree qualification (B.Sc. Hons – Level 6) + CYFCoaches who hold a UEFA B licence or a higher coaching qualification The theoretical sessions of these two courses will be held online.
