Tarxien Rainbows are the winners of the first edition of the BOV Premier eChallenge thanks to their player Ryan Cauchi. The final of this knock-out competition was a derby encounter as Cauchi faced Hibernians player Dunstan Vella with the Tarxien Rainbows ambassador winning 2-1. In the semi-finals, Vella had overcome Brandon Paiber, of Floriana, 4-1 while Cauchi had the better of Sliema Wanderers’ Michele Sansone 4-0. The BOV Premier eChallenge is a knock-out competition on EA Sports FIFA 20 between players representing the BOV Premier League clubs. 14 top-flight footballers, all nominated by their respective club, took centre-stage, swapping the football pitch for a virtual one.
