The Malta FA Technical Centre is receiving applications for participation in the UEFA A Coaching Course during season 2020/21.

The key areas covered during the eight-month UEFA A Coaching course include the preparation and execution of a plan to improve all players and the team as a whole, accountabilty vis-a-vis the club’s management and how coaches can lead and inspire their support staff to create a good synergy. On completion of the UEFA A Course, coaches will be better equipped to conduct high-level training sessions and lead their team during games.

Prospective candidates need to be willing and receptive to learn and improve their knowledge and expertise. They are also expected to be active participants throughout the course by presenting and sharing their ideas with their peers.

The assessment includes two practical sessions, one of which is an 11v11 game, a formative task, modular work and an interview by the Coach Education board on selected topics. This will help to test the course participant’s knowledge and expertise in a wide range of activities, thus ensuring a fair and comprehensive assessment.

Closing date for the submission of the applications is Friday, 28th August, 2020. All applications will be assessed before participants are accepted for the course. The selected candidates will be notified and can proceed to pay the course fee online via myCOMET.
