2020/21 domestic competitions – COVID-19 update (2 January)

LAST UPDATED – 2 January, 2021 (11.30hrs) Due to issues related to COVID-19, Valletta FC’s upcoming BOV Premier League fixtures – against Ħamrun Spartans FC (5 January, 2021) and Sliema Wanderers FC (9 January, 2021) – will be rescheduled to a later date. The matches are being postponed in accordance with the Malta FA special rules applicable to domestic competitions due to COVID-19. On Wednesday, Gudja United’s next two BOV Premier League fixtures – against Hibernians FC (5 January, 2021) and against Gżira United FC (9 January, 2021) – were also postponed due to COVID-19 issues. In the BOV Challenge League, Pembroke Athleta’s match against Naxxar Lions, scheduled to take place on Wednesday 6 January, 2021, has also been postponed. In view of these postponements, the following fixtures have been revised: BOV PREMIER LEAGUE Tuesday, 5 January, 202121:00 (Hibernians Stadium): Balzan vs Santa Lucia Saturday, 9 January, 202114:00 (Hibernians Stadium): Hibernians vs Senglea Athletic BOV CHALLENGE LEAGUE Tuesday, 5 January, 202120:00 (Centenary Stadium): Fgura United vs Marsa
