More International appointments for Maltese match officials

FIFA referee Matthew Degabriele has been appointed to officiate the UEFA U21 Championship match between Wales vs Moldova. The contest will take place this Friday in Llanelli, Wales, KO 19:30h. Degabriele will be assisted by Jurgen Spiteri and Mitchell Scerri as Assistant Referees, whereas Andrea Scriha has been appointed as 4th official for this match. This appointment for Matthew Degabriele is a continuation of a number of UEFA appointments he lately received that will further enhance his international career. Meanwhile, more international appointments in the coming days for Maltese FIFA badge officials, as referee Philip Farrugia reaches another milestone in his refereeing career, his debut as an international referee will be on Monday next week entrusted to officiate the senior friendly encounter between Andorra and Gibraltar. The match will take place in the Estadi Nacional, Andorra la Vella with a 20:45h kick off. For his international debut Philip Farrugia will be assisted by Alan Camilleri and Christopher Francalanza as Assistant Referees, with Ishmael Barbara also part of the team flying to Andorra for this match as 4th official.
