The Malta Football Association will set up and operate a FAN PARK on the day of the MALTA vs ITALY match, which match is  related to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Qualifiers, and which match will be played at the  National Stadium on Tuesday 26th March

The activity was launched During a Press Conference held this afternoon at the National Stadium, and which Press Conference was addressed by Norman Saliba (MFA Head of Marketing), Michael Schembri o.b.o. FXDD and Marco Debono o.b.o. CISK Lager.

National Team Main Sponsors FXDD and CISK Lager are the main drivers and will be fully supporting the event

PBS Limited, MFCC, South End Core, Pepsi  and Vibe FM are also partners in this event.

Addressing the Press Conference, MFA Head of Marketing explained that this was an innovative event for Malta and that came out as a result of the new sponsorship concept adopted in these last years by the MFA, which concept  looks at nourishing a bilateral commercial partnership rather than the traditional financing ideas.

Both Mr. Debono and Mr. Schembri spoke about the fruitful collaboration that exists between them and the MFA, and that the Fan Park is evidence of their companies' willingness to further involve themselves in sports related activities. In this case football and the National Teams.

Norman Saliba then gave details of the activities.
