Malta drawn in Group 1 in the U-19 Women's Championship

Malta has been drawn in Group 1 of League B in the Under-19 Women’s Championship.  The other teams in Group 1 are the Faroe Islands, Azerbaijan and Northern Ireland.  The 24 teams in League B, including those relegated from League A in the autumn, will compete for promotion for round 1 of the tournament's 2022/23 edition.This is a very difficult group for the Maltese girls, as Azerbaijan and Northern Ireland have been relegated from League 1, whilst the Faroe Islands have ended the Group phase in third place.  The other groups in League B are as follows: Group B1: Northern Ireland, Azerbaijan, Faroe Islands, MaltaGroup B2: Slovenia, North Macedonia, Liechtenstein, MoldovaGroup B3: Serbia, Montenegro, Lithuania, LatviaGroup B4: Scotland, Kosovo, Estonia, KazakhstanGroup B5: Slovakia, Georgia, Andorra, ArmeniaGroup B6: Turkey, Albania, Israel, Cyprus
