Enhancing staff training is an integral part of the Malta FA strategic objectives as per Goal 7 of the Malta FA strategy document. With this in mind, the Malta FA has outsourced and designed a bespoke training programme together with Think Talent. The Values Immersion programme consisted of 9 consecutive sessions for all staff members including full and part-time staff. The purpose of this professional development programme is to accelerate the learning and skills for employees in order to take their personal lives and professional careers to a higher level. This intensive organisational climate change project will address critical issues confronting every employee at MFA. Attendees will learn how to ask the right questions and to then find answers and solutions for their challenges and learn to see different and be different.Objectives of training programme: a) to provide a set of simple, practical tools to help employees create the work culture the organisation requires of them.b) to learn how to build stronger relationships that equip every team member in facing challenges more effectively.c) to fulfil the needs of the organisation— more connected teams, better communication and extraordinary performance. Outcomes:Develop employee empowerment initiatives that embody MFA’s core values, strategic alignment and organisational objectives. Help align employees towards achieving MFA’s vision, mission and goals.Increasing team cohesiveness among the various departments, divisions and units within MFA, bonding people togetherShaping staff behaviour Improve communication Break down barriers and "silos"Recognise and capitalise on each other's talents and contributions
