The Malta FA has today presented a set of proposals to be discussed with political parties for possible inclusion in their respective electoral programmes.  The first such meeting was held today with a delegation from the Malta Labour Party led by Labour Party Deputy Leader Daniel Micallef. The Malta FA’s proposals focus on:• upgrading of the sports infrastructure across the island.• setting fiscal incentives for a wider range of employment types in sport, beyond athletes and coaches, such as i) match officials, ii) stewards, and iii) administrators and employees of sports entities.• the creation of adequate  corporate structures for football clubs through legislation. Until today clubs are governed by multiple and often overlapping laws being sport entities and VOs. The Association continues to be proactive in seeking to nurture a sporting culture in Malta, in line with its mission to foster positive social change
