Malta lead the standings on better goal difference after day two of the Women's 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifers being held in Malta, after a 6-0 drubbing of Luxembourg in their seciond match.

 

Albania meanwhile beat Latvia 2-0 in the other match of the day.

 

 


It took just 12 minutes for the local girls to open the scoring through Y. Carabott and from this point onwards they never looked back to open a four goal margin by the time the match was half way through.

 

D. Theuma and N. Buttigieg each netted a brace with R. Cuschieri grabbing the other goal for Malta.

 

The qualifying t'ment will come to an end on Tuesday with matla facing Latvia and Albania to face Luxembourg.
